We award scholarhips ($1,500 and $1,000) to the top two cadets at the six area High School Junior ROTC units that we support.  They are Eustis H.S. (AF JROTC), Leesburg H.S. (AF JROTC), Mount Dora H.S. (AF JROTC), South Lake H.S. (Naval JROTC), South Sumter H.S. (Naval JROTC), and Umatilla H.S. (Army JROTC).

The primary fund raiser for these scholarships is the annual MOAA Military Charities Golf Tournament we sponsor every April at one of the Golf Courses in and around The Villages.  The Tournament has been held at the Harbor Hills Country Club for the last five years.  If you would like to contribute, as a sponsor of an event or to make a corporate or personal donation to support these scholarship programs, you can contact Donald Hansen, our chapter President.
