Our speaker to start the new year and 51st year of our Chapter will be Army Colonel (Retired) Thomas D. Smith who will tell us about MOH winner Robert Lewis Howard.  Howard was the only individual ever to be nominated for the Medal of Honor three times for three distinctly different infantry combat actions, all behind enemy lines, OUTSIDE of South Viet Nam.  Col. Smith's presentation is titled "The Greatest Hero America Never Knew" and should be an eye opener.
