Bob grew up an “Army Brat” until he began his own military career upon graduation from The US Military Academy at West Point in 1961 as A Field Artillery Officer.  Bob’s early career included assignment to the 82^nd Airborne Division and a deployment to The Dominican Republic with the 82^nd for Operation Power Pack.
