Our speaker will be U.S. Air Force Captain (Major Select) Jean Coignet, M.D., a Flight Surgeon assigned to the 1st Special Operations Support Squadron (1SOSS), part of the AF 1st Special Operations Wing at Hulburt Field, Florida.  He was 2019's Air Force Flight Surgeon of the Year.  He will speak about the missions of the 1SOSS and his role and about some of the medical services he has been called upon to perform in response to combat injuries and for humanitarian support in the Theaters of operations.  He is just returned from an extended deployment (six months) in Afghanistan, his third deployment in the last three years.

Our March lunch will consist of Mothers Meatloaf with gravy served with oven roasted potatoes and country style green beans.  The vegetarian selection will be a large entree salad.
