Rick Greenberg is a Marine combat veteran serving in Vietnam in 1969-1970 and then again in Operation Desert Shield/Storm.  He will speak to us about his time in Marine Recon and his wartime experiences, which are the subject of his award-winning book Silent Heroes.  Rick will have copies of his books available for sale after the meeting.  You can get more information about Rick at the following website.

Our meal will consist of Silverlake salad, served in a crispy tortilla bowl; crisp greens, onion, cucumber, tomato, hard-boiled egg, toasted almonds, and chicken strips with a choice of dressings on the table.  The vegetarian option will be the salad without the chicken strips.
