The Legislative process doesn’t always follow a rational path through Congress. But MOAA staff examines every twist and turn and keeps its membership informed along the way. The weekly MOAA E-Newsletter has information on the gamut of info their membership is interested in. But most importantly, it is the vehicle to call the membership to action with congress:

• to advocate for matters affecting the rights and interests when Service matters are under consideration.
• to present and support legislative proposals that provide for the fair and equitable treatment of members of the Armed Forces, military retirees, family members, survivors, and veterans.

This section on MOAAs website is a chronological listing of articles that mostly come from the MOAA newsletter written by staff, and include links to MOAAs messaging service when appropriate to directly send a suggested message to your Representative and Senators.  It is MOAA's HOT NEWS and TAKE ACTION postings.
